Well, I reuploaded these recently, so I might as well share with anyone who missed them the first time around.

Green Day did a "secret" show at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco California on 13 October 2005, and some wonderful person recorded it for the rest of us to enjoy!

Here is the original journal post with the set list.

And here are the new links:

Warfield Disc 1
Warfield Disc 2
Warfield Disc 3

(After the countdown, click below the gold stars, wait for the second countdown, and click on the HTTP link.)

The easiest way to convert these to mp3/AAC is to burn the flac files to a CD. (For PC users, I found a freeware program to do this Burrrn. I have not used it, so if it doesn't work let me know.) Then rip the CD to mp3 or AAC using iTunes or whatever you usually use.

I know these files have already found their way onto the internet in mp3, but please share the high quality files only with your friends.

In an unrelated note, I listened to American Idiot this morning, really listened to it. And over a year and a half after its release, it still blows. me. away. Fucking Amazing.

I grabbed these the first time you shared, but I just wanted to thank you again for doing this. This show is so amazing to listen to. When nothing immediately appeared after the show took place, I didn't think we'd ever even get a taste of what took place that night. But then there was this and all was right with the world.

Alrighty, I've babbled enough. I'll skip my way out of here gracefully.

Would a few mp3 songs posted in cosrsh&oc be okay?
At this point, sure.

We need to get some song/album discussions going. Everyone here has such great insights!

I love you so much, Mary. I would like to have 1,000 of your babies, if I could. I didn't even know this bootleg existed until a few weeks ago, and it blew my mind to know it did. Downloading all of them now, even if it takes all night, and considering making a shrine to you somewhere in the Church's main hall!

And funnily enough, I've been listening to AI in my car every day since Friday, for the first time in awhile, and I'm 100 percent with you. I put it in because it's a great album for when you're pissed off at the world and full of angst, as I kind of have been for a few days, and it's a total catharsis every time through. I adore it. Sometimes I forget how much. (Current favorite song: Are We The Waiting. Because it changes. All the time.)
