Short post...I'm tired!
Reading '07 was amazing! What a blast we (
beelzezuk &
sylvee) all had. The weather was phenomenal, as well...sunny and warm all three days. It appears that this was all my doing. I didn't even need to buy a pair of Wellies.
We pretty much spent all three days running on no sleep because, as the late great sage Warren Zevon once wrote, "I'll sleep when I'm dead."
Here's the list of the bands I saw, in quantities ranging from 2 songs to the entire set:
Friday: Gogol Bordello, Gossip, Kings of Leon, Razorlight, The Enemy, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly!, Enter Shikari, Plain White T's, The Living End
Saturday: The Dead 60's, Eagles of Death Metal, Angels and Airwaves, Panic! at the Disco, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Twang, Biffy Clyro, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is...
Sunday: CSS, Billy Talent, The Used, Funeral for a Friend, Fall Out Boy, LostProphets, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins
Bands that I had never or barely heard of that I enjoyed: The Dead 60s, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly!, LostProphets.
Bands that I knew that I enjoyed the most: The Living End, Panic! (Brendon didn't get hit in the head this time, although they were bottled pretty hard the first 2-3 songs), FOB (still think they're not as good live as on record though.)
The BBC recorded most of the acts, so you can find them here.
Elz and I made it back to London with a minimum of hassle, but we're plenty tired, so we're just chilling out, event though the 2nd largest street festival/carnival in the world is taking place 3 blocks from here.
Tomorrow starts the London Tourist From HellĀ® week.
Cheers.

And you're missed, man...last night I got home from the cabin and went on line and for a second I was all "where's Mary" until my brain kicked in. LOL
