Here's the ebay listing for the autographed guitar won by a 14 year old in an Idiot Club give-away. The story is that her parents are making her sell it. Think of all the people who would have cherished it. What a shame.

Aw man that just SUCKS. They went through all that to customise it for her and her alone as something special and she's fucking selling it. Yeah, right, it's her parents. She doesn't seem too broken up about it in the listing either, so I'm not buying the parents thing. If I didn't like music lessons and I couldn't play guitar but I had that guitar, I'd keep it. Most real fans would. Fuck, I wouldn't want to play it anyway, I'd cherish that thing. It'd probably make me want to learn guitar, seeing as how Billie actually went to all the effort of making it perfect. Fuck.

My hubby works for Gibson and I told him about it. He shrugged, but for him he said that since it is so personalized he wouldn't want to even own it. He said that if it was just the band autographs, that would be one thing, but to have your name on it...and he also didn't buy that her folks were making her do it.
