The Idiot Club Guitar...
Dec. 18th, 2006 08:10 pmHere's the ebay listing for the autographed guitar won by a 14 year old in an Idiot Club give-away. The story is that her parents are making her sell it. Think of all the people who would have cherished it. What a shame.

Date: 2006-12-19 06:28 am (UTC)It could be just as she said... she doesn't play and doesn't like lessons, so maybe she's bored. Her folks could be seeing dollar signs, but I hope it itsn't just them making her sell it. What an incredible piece to own and have personalized! Argh!

Date: 2006-12-19 04:13 pm (UTC)She doesn't seem too broken up about it in the listing either, so I'm not buying the parents thing. If I didn't like music lessons and I couldn't play guitar but I had that guitar, I'd keep it. Most real fans would. Fuck, I wouldn't want to play it anyway, I'd cherish that thing. It'd probably make me want to learn guitar, seeing as how Billie actually went to all the effort of making it perfect. Fuck.
*snorts in disgust*
