I got up at 5:30AM today. I haven't gotten up at 5:30 for no reason ever in my entire life. But I woke up and, there I was. And what with the Daylights Saving Time thing, it was dark. That was weird. So I puttered around the house and even got a few things done. (The other good thing about getting up at that ungodly hour is that I realized I had forgotten to put the trash out AGAIN! At least I was able to get it out there before the pick-up came by.)

This is really just an audio, from YouTube, of Adam Lambert covering a lovely Five For Fighting piano ballad called "I Just Love You." (The vocal transition from the bridge to the chorus at 2:45 is amazing.) If Adam could do this song on AI, Paula would be a sobbing puddle of goo by the end of it (depending on whether she's back on her meds.)

I'm not a big fan of this week's theme: Michael Jackson. Bleh. But supposedly Adam likes him, so I suspect he'll choose a song that he knows and can do well. The rumor is that he will be doing "Bad," which I can see, I guess. (There is also a rumor that Danny is doing "Billie Jean." NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO He'd be a total idiot to do it with David Cook's sublime version so fresh in everyone's minds.)

I hope sick_of_me03 gets tix to the screening of Heart Like A Hand Grenade on the 25th in LA. We need at least one flistie to give us a first hand report on whether we really get to see naked!Mike on the long-awaited documentary.

I still haven't received an email saying if I got chosen to go to the screening or not. I wonder if they're waiting til the 16th to alert everyone? Do you know if anyone on GDA has been selected yet?
