The latest word is that my pretend boyfriend Gale may be released from the hospital this Friday. I still won't exhale fully until I hear for sure that he's back at work. *crosses fingers and toes*

I'm really liking my new job. The nurses and staff are really nice (and they seem to like me!) It seems to alternate between Boring as Hell and OMGKillMeNow, but so far, so good.

I'm gonna take the plunge and put my house on the market in December. I'm already fighting off the twinges of seller's remorse, but when I look at all the reasons I have for moving vs. the reasons to stay, it's still no contest. I'm going to start looking for houses in San Francisco next month.

I know there's at least one synesthete on my flist. A friend of cleolinda is looking for synesthetes for an online survey. I'm not, but I sorta wish I were. It seems kind of neat.

Don't forget to vote next Tuesday, those of you that live south of the 49th parallel.

O.M.G. I love that video!!! I say YES - everyone, move to Canada!!! I have a spare room that you all can rotate through - we can have pyjama parties, write porn together, and fangirl until we explode. Or my hubby moves out, whichever comes first ;)

I have to say, I really like having pretend boyfriends. I'm glad to hear that yours is seeming better - things did look pretty scary there for a while.

Good luck on the house front - while I know it must be strange to move from somewhere you love, I can only imagine how much more you will love it in SF. And good news on the job - glad things seem to be working out there too.

OK, that's it...we're all moving in with Heather!

M'reh...got another update on the pretend bf, this one not so happy, but frankly, more along the lines of what I expected. I think I'll just make another post about it.

I am so not looking forward to the stuff I have to do to move, although I know it will be a great thing.

Yeah. It still looks like he'll be home on Friday, but he'll be re-habbing for a while. I hate to say it, but I still am not sure how he'll be able to continue on Desperate Housewives. But hell, he's alive and he's not a vegetable...that's a start.

You know, I'm rather ridiculously excited about your big moving adventure but that might be because I'm not the one who has to do the work, but I'm sure its going to all work out in the end. And while its a work in progress, you know where to find me to vent at when you're stressing.
