I wonder if they chose Mother Mary as the one that radios were allowed to spin, or if it happened sort of organically and they're officially making it the first single because, well, it's out there (and charting!)? The former is likely the truth but I quite like the idea that it's been designated a single by default just because it's the one that's being played most.
