Yes, Billie. YouTube can Own Everything.
Feb. 15th, 2008 11:02 amBecause I got my butt kicked at the Chain Reaction (not that I'd do a thing differently, mind you), I decided for the Troubadour show that I was going to take it easy, so to speak. When we were exploring the venue before the show, we went up to a nice little loft area at the back where I found a place to stand where I could see well and wouldn't be blocking anyone else's view either. While I was setting my camera up, I noticed that it told me that I had 57 minutes of video time available on my memory card, and I thought "Whoa, the show last night was only 50 minutes long!" And I could set my camera on a rail where it wouldn't be too obvious that I was taping. (Cameras were allowed, although video taping was not.) So I did a few test shots with the opening band and decided, What the heck, let's see how this goes. So this is what I got. The original is better than YouTube quality, although not exactly HD DV. But it's something for all my friends who couldn't be there.
