Life During Wartime is probably my favorite PHGP song, although I really really like one of the new ones, On the Avenue. (That's the one during which Billie so charmingly had to read the lyrics from a piece of paper.)

Unfortunately, during this video a crowd surfer took me out twice, then the asshole took my place in front of me in the pit. I was not happy, as you might imagine. Still, I love the song.

God, it's so awesome to see him in that environment. :D And oh man, poor you. I thought maybe the video might shake a little bit when you got crowd surfed over, but it was absolute chaos and black screen. Hooray for surviving!

HA! I love the screech just before the screen goes all black :)

While the video on it's own isn't the greatest, it really gives the idea of what it was like to be squashed in with all those bodies, right in the thick of the crowd. I think I would have been terrified and exhilarated all at the same time. All 5 feet of me :)

It sucks to be short in the pit. But it was totally worth it! I looked like a drowned rat when it was over.
