Title: Difference Of Opinion
Author: revid
Rating: PG
Pairing: Billie Joe/Mike
Disclaimer: It's called RPS Fiction for a reason: It's FICTION!
Notes: My first hundred word exactly drabble. I'm trying to break my writer's block.
Warning: Features Evil!Billie.

"Billie?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry man; I've gotta piss."

Billie groaned in mock frustration, unlocking his hands from behind the sinewy neck, and rolling off with an extra grind of his hips as revenge. He sighed as he admired the chiseled ass walking away.

The machine picked up the woman's voice on the first ring.

"Billie? Have you seen Mike? His cell’s off. Have him call me, OK? Thanks."

He leaned over and pressed delete.

"Was that the phone?" Mike asked, crawling onto all fours over him, touching foreheads.

"Yeah,” Billie murmured, rimming the lips above with his tongue, "nothing important."

Bad Billie!

I find that working with limits actually makes me get more creative so using drabbles to get rid of your writers block is probably a good idea :)

*claps* very good, I love sneaky!Billie.

unlocking his hands from behind the sinewy neck, and rolling off with an extra grind of his hips as revenge.

Only one hundred words, yet you managed to make it very sexy and easy to picture ;) Well done.

Yay for drabble writing! I really enjoyed this - you've captured Billie's assholeness, made it very descriptive and even Billie's motivation is implicit in the text.

Excellent!

I'm not sure about reducing writer's block -- it hasn't worked for me :) but I do think that working to the confined limits is great for working at different ways of phrasing and making writing ... tighter. You have done an excellent job here!

I was going to leave a thoughtful comment on how much I loved the drabble and that these snippets of scenes can indeed stimulate the brain into overcoming writer's block, and that I especially love the title and how that tied into the imagery...

And then I saw this exchange and DIED laughing. *uncontrollable giggles*

Things do seem do degenerate fairly rapidly when [livejournal.com profile] _somniac_ and I are online simultaneously.

It's her fault.

Thank you for the kind words, however!

I loved this! And no, writing drabbles sure doesn't do anything for me when I have writer's block - since I've never successfully written a drabble in my life. I'm far too long winded, man. lol I sure admire people who can pull it off, though and this one is great. I'm going to carry the vision of Mike's chiseled ass with me all night now. Guh. Wonderful description!

Oooooooo, drabble! Featuring Evil!Billie, eh? Devious. I haven't seen too much of evil Billie *ponders*

Yep and yeah- I have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] al_teregoz about the inability to write drabbles, man. I'm far too long winded. I need too many words to describe simple things, so yeah I really admire people who can write drabbles and capture the scene and sketch character within a short snapshot. I could see how drabbles could spur the creative process and such. Evil!Billie leaves great little avenues for our brains to run down... Ooo, nice job, yo. =)
