I stumbled across this interview in stuffmagazine.com tonight. It's dated 9 Sept 04, about 2 weeks before American Idiot was released. MIKE: But when we were kids, we were shits. I remember times when we would walk block after block over the hoods of cars or just roll bowling balls down the steepest streets in Seattle. We’re not idiots anymore.
