It's A Beautiful Day....

revidI really hadn't had a full night's sleep since some where around 23 December I think, so last night I fell asleep around 1:30 AM, and woke up today around...1:30 PM. Boy, did that feel good. And I was so surprised to wake up and notice how warm my house felt. A quick check of my weather widget explained why: high today in Pismo Beach, CA was 80 ºF!

_somniac_'s advice and took a little walk with my camera around 4 PM this afternoon. These were taken with a Canon SD630, a 6 MP point and shoot.
Sun and Sand
It was, of course, much brighter than it looks in this picure, but the brightness of the sun low on the horizon makes the rest of the photo quite underexposed. I like the way it came out anyway.
My attempt at artiness.
The view looking north towards the Pismo Beach pier.
If I knew Photoshop, I'd mess with this so the colors weren't so washed out. I still like it though.
Self Portrait. I look almost as tall as Kat here.
These were taken with the camera's Macro mode.

Pismo Creek, which runs behind my street down to the ocean.
