Happy Febru-illie Everyone!!

Well, I'm headed up to lovely (cold) British Columbia for a few days, (*waves to and_ed *) so I will miss the High Holy Day of Febru-illie, Friday the 17th. But before I go, I have a little contribution to the Febru-illie celebration: some tasty video bootlegs of our boys for videophiles among us.

This is probably my favorite of the 45-50 boots I have. It is a high quality audience shot video on a night where they performed the entire American Idiot CD in sequence. I have it in DVD format, but I shrunk and converted it to mpeg.

An amazing and rare setlist from last year, including Christie Road, Holden Caufield, and I Fought the Law. (Watch at the end of the video: There's a camera as the boys leave the stage, and Billie Joe looks at it and says "That was awesome!", then 5 seconds later Mike comes in and says the exact same thing! Too cute!)

All these should be playable by most computer video players, but if you have problems, I highly recommend VLC. http://www.videolan.org/vlc It plays everything, and it's free!

I'm downloading the Apollo one because woot! That's new to me. However, sendspace says its unavailable at the moment so I shall, as it suggests, try again later.

I, too, survive on VLC...have yet to find a file it won't play.

Hope you have a great trip...pack a sweater, but its not really that cold. Like thelackey, I guess you SoCal types are just wimps sensitive. ;)

T'is all relative indeed. ^^ Whenever it gets up to 10 C after a long cold winter where I live, I see people wandering around in t-shirts.

Coldest I've ever seen in my hometown was -38 C, though. I've seen colder only with the windchill added on. That's the kind of cold that hurts. Eep.

Once the shorts come out here, they don't go away. Which means that if we have a few days in March over 10 C they come out and it doesn't MATTER that there's always a snowstorm in late March, people are STILL wearing their damn shorts!

Ow, I don't like anything below -20. It hurts to breathe and any exposed skin fucking aches.

That's Billie's famous "Hitchin' a Ride" scene from Melbourne! HANDS DOWN the best one ever! I hope you're able to DL it but if it doesn't work or if the link expired, let me know and I'll re-upload it for you!! EEEE! It's the greatest thing I've ever seen! The GOOD stuff starts about 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the clip!! :)

OMG! Thank you. Talk about up close and personal! Whew...I need to take a shower so I can concentrate and finish packing. The best part is definitely the flash of hipbone and skin and tattoo as he pulls up his shirt. And he was so damn shaggy in Oz. But I like shaggy Billie!
