My 1 year concert-iversary!

One year ago today I went to my first Green Day concert at the SaveMart Center in Fresno, California. I bought tix for $100 on eBay, and talked a woman at work into going with me.

I had been entranced by American Idiot for the previous 10 months or so, but in the span of two hours I was transformed into a fanatic.

A few days later I discovered comingclean, in January I signed up for an LJ, and the rest, as they say, is history!

In honor of the occasion, I present to you a video from that very same show. This was a song not on the regular setlist, performed especially for a guest in the audience.

I just about died from happiness when I got a hold of the Fresno bootleg. It's missing AI, and JOS, but it's better than nothing.


Five years! I'm so jealous of the old school Green Day fans sometimes. :-)
