In nicer news The Westboro Baptist Church was at Adam's show tonight protesting and there was a lovely group of counter protesters that Adam actually went out and said hello to and thanked. Adam tweeted:

Random thoughts on Fandom: Tommy Joe Ratliff's father died 2 days ago, which is sad, and I feel badly for him, but what's with so many fans who act like their own dad died? I mean, want to try to trend #RIPRonRatliff? Asking about sending money to the family? A little weird to me. Sending Tommy a card or a twitter condolence is OK, for sure. Pretending to be a close personal friend when you're really just a fan is not being a good fan, it's kind of creepy. And frankly, it's more about saying "Look at Meeeeee, I'm such a gooooood fan! I care sooooo much!"

Cat fight! (Rawrrr!) What happened between Evan and Johnny? I don't know much about either of them except that they're both really good skaters. Rivals, I'm guessing? Oh, but I do know that Johnny Weir is definitely the Ryan Ross of figure skating. XD (What a shitty thing for Evan to say though!)

As for the Tommy thing, I totally agree. It's definitely a sad situation, but some people just want to turn it into a 'who's a better fan' contest. It's sick. I'm sure Tommy has enough to deal with as it is. He doesn't need the creepers to make it worse.

On the bright side, at least he has Adam to soothe his wounded ... soul. ;)

I think Evan and Johnny are frenimies. I haven't followed figure skating since Brain Boitano and Brian Orser were at the top.

Adam kissed Tommy during "Fever" tonight, then said "Suck on that Westboro!" ILH, I do.

Totally fug. I don't think he's good looking at all, and I think he was the absolute wrong choice to play Edward.

I read the books - and liked them quite a bit - but the movies, not so much. The first movie is hands-down the worst thing I've ever seen, but I did enjoy the other two a lot more than I thought I would, at least. My neice is a huge fan, so naturally I'm the recruit to take her to see them. XD

The Jacob/Edward rivalry in Eclipse was damn funny though. And that Jacob kid is pretty easy on the eyes, at least.

Also, Evan's doucetasticness goes even farther. He txt failed something really cruel and then deleted like a week's worth of tweets and then said he'd been hacked. I for one, am entirely unconvinced by his hacking story.

The hacking story is bullshit. The screencaps prove it. He just needed to delete and apologize and it would all be over. Instead, not only did he lay a giant turd, he stepped in it too and the smell won't go away.

I'm pretty sure Evan was an asshole prior to this, but this only adds to his assholery. Speaking of, were you a Be Good Johnny Weir watcher? I need to somehow get those episodes to DVD so I can erase them off of my DVR where they live for 24/7 entertainment. But I just love that show so much and Johnny seriously cracks.me.up. I adore him!

No, I've never seen it. I lost my interest in men's figure skating long ago. However, I admire Johnny for his big fuck you attitude toward the USFSA who keep trying to pretend that there are no fags in figure skating.
