So much love for the boys, man. And I'm gonna post about this, but I really loved that performance. The Mikey bit I was talking about on AIM is at about 3:04. He really does look rather unnerved to have the girl singing at/by him. *pets*

And your other love is looking fabulous on the red carpet there. Maybe next year he'll be attending for other reasons. =)

That performance? Oh god. Fucking EPIC!! I cried from the second the curtain went up, and didn't stop until the song ended. (Okay, I didn't stop tearing up for a good few minutes after.) It was one hell of an experience!

Though, can we talk about how uncomfortable Mike looked when that girl started invading his personal space? Hahahahahaa. I'd love to see a macro of that screen cap, with just a simple: "DNW." on it. It doesn't have to be fancy. LOL. Gotta love Mike. :D

When I looked at it again...I just think he was "in character." Because they rehearsed it to death,so he had to know she'd be up in his grill the same way the other one was up in Billie's.

While I'm pretty much DNW on the whole musical thing (this is literally the first I've seen/heard of any of it, as I have studiously avoided the whole thing) I will have to admit to at least being pleased for the guys. I know Billie is completely behind this, and anything that makes Billie happy makes me happy. I just can't listen to anyone other than him sing a Green Day song - as I said to Barb, it's Billie or nothing at all for me.

I thought I heard that your sparkly new boy was going to be doing red carpet stuff for someone? Apparently we here in Canada were deemed undeserving of the red carpet, because no channel around here carried it which was disappointing. I've also heard his new song (can't remember the name) but I loved it!!! I wasn't a fan of the first single, but this new one is fabulous. And I caught part of the video where he looks all broody and handsome and stuff ;)

Ha, you and Barb both. But even she admitted that it wasn't bad. :-) As I said to her after I saw the play, it's not like a cover band doing GD songs, it's a whole 'nother animal. Which makes it OK.

Whataya Want From Me was written by Max Martin and Pink. It's doing quite well in the US. For Your Entertainment is going to be pushed as the first European single. The whole marketing strategy is very interesting, but I hope it's successful.
