Damn You Adam Lambert...

revidOh, and Happy 28th Birthday!!! too.
I curse Adam because he's announced another concert at the end of February at a casino in Palm Springs. (That's in the desert about 90 minutes east of LA.) I'm working that night, which was almost a relief, because it got me gracefully out of spending the $500 or so it would cost me in flight and hotel and rental car and ticket. But then of course I started thinking about it and how fun it would be to see him indoors this time, yada, yada, yada... so I've made one of those bargains with the universe. IF I ask one person to take my shift, and IF he agrees, and IF there are still tickets remaining if he does, and IF the cost of the flight isn't outrageous, THEN I will take it as a sign the universe means for me to go. Right? Makes perfect sense.
Happily, since I last posted, both the rain and the death bronchitis have abated somewhat. Still, I need winter to GTFO now. My borderline Seasonal Affective Disorder is starting to kick in and turning me into a sloth. Need sun NOW!
