As we speak feels_like_fire, _somniac_, and leighrowena are getting ready for the first live public performance of Green Day and 21st Century Breakdown!!! It's a secret performance at a club in SF that begins in less than 20 minutes.

I'm not there because when I found out about the show I was an eight hour drive away in Los Angeles, where I saw the Dress Rehearsal of tonight's American Idol, or as I call it, my first Adam Lambert concert. I'll be posting about that in depth later, but....



AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! GREEN DAY! Why couldn't you have your secret show tomorrow night?


But I'm soooooo happy for my girls!!!!

Did you go to the show where he did the Tears for Fears song? Because I watched that on TV last night, and WOW.....it was really really good. I love your gay pretend bf a lot :) Also, I'm not a huge follower of American Idol, but I've seen a number of shows this year, and I have to ask.....is it normal for the judges to gush like fangirls like they do over him? I've never really seen that before in my limited watching. All of them (and Simon! which amazes me) seem to just absolutely adore him.

Also............GREEN DAY!!!!!!!!!!............SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Simon never gives standing ovations to contestants. Never. Adam was just amazing yesterday. He is in a class by himself. I will be first in line to buy tickets to his first solo show.
