So
feels_like_fire linked me to this website with "The 25 Most Exquisitely Sad Songs in the Whole World." Some of the songs are right on, some are "Huh?" --- more than a few I'd never heard of, including the Number 1 song. Like, haven't they ever listened to Joni Mitchell? Jackson Brown? "Long, Long Time" by Linda Rondstat would have been my Number 1. Most heart-wrenching torch song ever written.
But looking at the list's Number 4 made me want to share it with y'all. It's Johnny Cash's cover of Nine Inch Nail's (Trent Reznor) "Hurt." Honestly, it's amazing, whether or not you care about Johnny Cash or NIN.
There are some other funny lists on that website too..."20 Rockin' Gay Moments" killed some time for me.
Hope you all are having a great day.
