I got a request a couple days ago to share a DVD of Green Day's 2005 Comp'd on Fuse performance. Typically, uploading DVDs is not feasible due to their 2 - 4 GB size, because of both the time it takes to upload them, and the fact that I was unable to find a file hosting service that would accept such large files.
Recently however,
booshgal33 turned me on to a new file hosting service called MediaFire, which not only allows unlimited file size, but the links never expire. And my employer has a T-1 line, which can upload at a rate of about 500 MB per hour. (Don't tell them I used it, OK?)
So here's my little proof of concept experiment.
The first link is a zip file that contains 2 folders: VIDEO_TS, which contains the DVD .bup and .nfo files, and an empty folder called AUDIO_TS (which some DVD players seem to require.)
The other 2 links are the files that contains the actual video data : VTS_01_1.VOB & VTS_01_2.VOB
To make a DVD, download all three files. Unzip and open the Comp'd on Fuse folder, and move the two .VOB files into the VIDEO_TS folder.
You can now play this on your computer, burn it to DVD using Toast or Nero or a similar program, or you can play the VOB files directly on your comupter using VLC.
This is a really wonderful proshot performance shot in a small venue for a TV broadcast. I don't have the playlist off hand, but it's a hour long, based on the usual AI tour set list. It also features a wonderful performance of "Christie Road." If you have 2 GB free on your harddrive and a DVD burner, it's worth the download time.

VTS_01_2.VOB: http://www.mediafire.com/?42egizzwnu1 (908 MB)
Enjoy!
