Drive-by update...
Aug. 19th, 2008 12:50 pmI'm back...for a day anyway.
Holland was wonderful. A very beautiful country. I didn't do a lot of touristy stuff, except I did get to see Vermeer's Girl With Pearl Earring, along with a few Rembrants, and the MC Escher museum, all of which I enjoyed thoroughly. Mostly I just hung out with my friend, wandered around Den Haag (The Hague) and Dordrecht, drank a lot of coffee and soaked up the European feel. (Also experienced the European prices. OW. )
I'm still incredibly jet-lagged, but I have to be back at work tomorrow. Oh well. I hope everyone is doing well -- I missed you all.
