Fun Day...

Well, I just got home about an hour ago from the Live Oak Music Festival. It was lovely and HOT...about 85-90 degrees...and a really pleasant way to spend a day. I have a bunch of friends who go up and camp for the whole weekend, but seeing as it's only an hour's drive from my home, the day trip is good enough for me. The music's great, but it's really a good excuse to sit under a shady oak tree, drink wine, and hang out with friends. And now I can say that I have seen Arlo Guthrie perform "Alice's Restaurant" live, all 25 minutes of it. Everyone should experience that once; preferably under the influence.

Oh, Alice's Restaurant! I grew up with that song. Sounds like you had a lovely day with friends. And wine, so you know I approve. ;)
