revidYes, I know I haven't posted in months, but today is February 17th, and I can't just let it go by.
Today is the 39th birthday of one lovely Billie Joe Armstrong, frontman and songwriter extraordinaire for Green Day, and the raison d'etre for me opening an LJ account over 5 years ago.
So Happy Birthday Billie, you scruffy little punk that grew into a real man without ever losing the joy of being a kid.
Thank you for all the great music over the last 20 years.
Thank you for taking to Twitter in the last few weeks; I've been endlessly entertained.
But most of all,
Thank you for being the catalyst for meeting some of the best friends I've ever had. I love you and I love them.
